Colleges That Factor Into Rankings

Not all divisions are factored equally

1. All NCAA Division 1 Championship Tournament Teams (1946-Present)

If a College has never qualified for a National Championship Tournament then they are not ranked

How the College Rankings are Determined

The colleges are ranked by the criteria listed below in the order that they are listed

1. The college's highest finish

2. The college's total number of first place finishes

3. The college's total number of second place finishes

4. The college's total number of combined third and fourth place finishes

5. The college's total number of seasons that they competed in the leagues listed above

6. The college's average rank in all of the seasons they competed in

Colleges By Conference

The rating used to rank the colleges is the same as the all-time rankings and then organizes them into the CURRENT conference only

Colleges By Decade

The rating used to rank the colleges is the same as the all-time rankings but only uses results from the seasons of that decade

Colleges By Division

The rating used to rank the colleges is the same as the all-time rankings but only uses results from the seasons in that division

Colleges By State

The rating used to rank the colleges is the same as the all-time rankings and then organizes them into the franchises home state
